A Missed Periorbital Foreign Body

Trauma involving the eye, orbital and periorbital regions are commonly seen in cases of road traffic accidents, sports injuries physical assaults, but intraorbital / foreign bodies rare. Early presentation, history trauma, imaging help diagnosis. However, sometimes diagnosis is missed, particularly with late presentation a vague minor trauma non-metallic body. A missed body may present later infection, repeated inflammation, ptosis, proptosis motility defect, further complicating management.
 Here, we case during primary repair facial injury 32-year male polytrauma sustained accident. Evidence was reported CT scan head advised for injury. Re-exploration wound removal performed under local anaesthesia.
